On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Mobile City Lab participated in the City Economy Day on Friedensplatz. With its Mobile City Lab, the Digital City of Darmstadt transported visitors into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and robotics. The children, in particular, had a lot of fun getting a miniature robot with AI to run, which then follows a specific color or their own stuffed animal.

Auch Oberbürgermeister Hanno Benz besuchte den Stand der Digitalstadt Darmstadt und ließ sich ein KI-Übersetzungsprogramm erklären.
In addition to digitalization, the City Economy Day also featured energy, affordable housing, local public transport, cultural offerings, waste disposal, and much more. Under the motto “Darmstadt in the Heart,” the city’s businesses presented themselves to the people of Darmstadt. Accompanied by an attractive supporting program, the abstract concept of “city economy” was brought to life, demonstrating the services provided daily.
